  This patch kit provides new versions of the following drivers for
  TCPware Version 5.9-2:

     DRIVERS_V592P080	- ECO Rank: 3 - Corrects a specific problem
     ----------------
	IPDRIVER	- Work to reduce the number of alignment faults
	UDPDRIVER	  on Alpha and Integrity systems. [DE 11220]
	TCPDRIVER

     DRIVERS_V592P073   - ECO Rank: 1 - Corrects a possible crash
     ----------------
       NTDRIVER		- Add a call between NTDRIVER and TCPDRIVER to make
       TCPDRIVER	  sure the fast I/O mechanism is severed in both
       INETDRIVER	  devices when the NTA device decides that it needs to
       UDPDRIVER	  be severed. Other drivers are replaced as well
			  because of changes to a data structure that is used
			  by them as well. [DE 11209]

       BGDRIVER		- Correct errors in setting up for I/O to 64 bit
       TCPDRIVER	  address space, and in doing large (near 65535 bytes) 
			  writes. [DE 11154,11197]


     This ECO kit has as a prerequisite the following ECO kit:

     DRIVERS_V592P063   - ECO Rank: 1 - Corrects a possible crash

       BGDRIVER		- Correct an error in calculation of how much data can
       TCPDRIVER          be put in a buffer on VMS V8 [DE 11154,11197]. This
                          change only applies to systems running VMS V8.

     DRIVERS_V592P050   - ECO Rank: 3 - Corrects a specific problem
     ----------------
       BGDRIVER		- Add get support for KEEPCNT, KEEPIDLE, KEEPINIT and
			  KEEPINTVL [DE 11123]. Note that the TCP/IP Services
                          keep alive variables do not directly correspond with
                          the TCPware variables so some of the values are
                          computed and changing the value of one variable may
                          effect the value of other variables.

     DRIVERS_V592P040   - ECO Rank: 3 - Corrects a specific problem
     ----------------
       NTDRIVER		- Restore support of virtual terminals [DE 10986]
			  With this change only the value of the SYSGEN
			  parameter TTY_DEFCHAR2 is used.

     DRIVERS_V592P030   - ECO Rank: 1 - Corrects a possible crash
     ----------------
       IPDRIVER         - Correct a possible crash [DE 11045]
       NTDRIVER		- Improved compatibility with PointSecure System
			  Detective.

     DRIVERS_V592P020   - ECO Rank: 3 - Corrects a specific problem
     ----------------
       IPDRIVER         - Restore the maximum number of packet filters
       TCPWARE$SDA        per interface to V5.8 levels (approximately 780).
                          ECO Rank 3
       IPDRIVER         - Fix a problem where the TCPware kernel hangs if 
			  VMS eco VMS732_LAN-V0700 or later is installed.
			  The problem exists in TCPware 5.9-2 and earlier 
			  and can be worked around by setting bit 16 
			  (0x10000) in the LAN_FLAGS system parameter.

	NTDRIVER	- Fix a problem with TELNET devices (NTA) having the
			  wrong owner pid.

  NOTE: Your system must be rebooted after installing this patch.

  The old versions of the images will be renamed to *.EXE_OLD.

  Once installed, you may undo this patch by renaming the file(s) back to:
