Before this the system was running on version 5.5-3. My question is that if there is a need for me to revert the TCPWare back to version 5.5-3, how can I do that? I've looked through all the documentation there is available on the internet and in the package that came together with the software but couldn't find anything. I even tried reinstalling 5.5-3 over 5.6-2 but the version shown at NETCU SHOW VERSION is still 5.6-2. Due to some management purposes there is a need for me to know how to revert the system back to 5.5-3 if the upgrade fails. Your help is greatly appreciated! As TCPware installs completely into two folders (specific and common), the easiest way would be to backup the TCPware 5.5 directories to sibling directories, and update TCPware to 5.6 on those. That way, changing the directory from where STARTNET is called and a reboot can switch between the two. Of course, configurations are *not* shared that way. cu, Martin --=20 Your mouse has moved. | Martin Vorlaender | OpenVMS rules! I have a client who download files from our FTP server on a regular basis. Two weeks ago, in the middle of downloading a file, he got the following error message: 425 Can't build data connection: %%TCPWARE-W-EADDRINUSE, address already in use. Can someone explain what this means? Thanks, Kevin Phillip Systems Consultant FT Interactive Data (Jersey) Limited
