The Beta period will be approximately one month in duration. All that we ask, is that you install and use the product as you normally would. By participating in our Beta Test process, you will have the opportunity to give direct feedback to product development and to help us maintain the high-level quality that you have come to expect in our products. Please respond to beta@process.com by April 18th if you are interested in participating. If you are chosen as a Beta Test site, you will be contacted with additional details shortly thereafter. Thank you for your continued support and interest in Process Software's networking solutions. ================================================================================ Archive-Date: Thu, 27 Apr 1995 07:33:51 GMT Subject: TCPWare and Pathworks for Netware - Device Driver problems Message-ID: From: andycheetham@cix.compulink.co.uk ("Andy Cheetham") Date: Thu, 27 Apr 1995 07:33:51 GMT Has anyone had any experience with TCPWare and DEC Pathworks for Netware ? I am having difficulties getting the two systems to co-exist using the same frame type (Ethernet_II). If I load TCPWare first then Pathworks Daemon never starts up & if I load pathworks first then TCPWare fails to start XQCP. The LAN drivers only allow one user of a particular protocol for an interface. Use EITHER Pathworks for NetWare or TCPware's NetWare Services (if you need to run both, consider another interface or better yet another system). Also, why do you need to run both products? They basically provide similar level of services, so one should do. You can also switch between them (a system reboot may be necessary). - Bernie Volz Process Software Corporation
